The story behind the page
Travel runs in the family. So does hosting.

Travel runs in the family. Long before My House Page existed, we were the family that booked the next trip while still unpacking from the last one. My mum has always been the planner, the one who finds the place nobody else would have found, and tells you the story behind it before you've even landed.

I grew up watching that, and then went and did my own version of it. I lived on Ibiza for a while and ran my own place there, taking guests out on hikes, showing them the island the way locals actually experience it. Hosting, for us, was never about handing over a key. It was about the welcome.

My mum still owns her own house, the one our family visits together, and the one she now rents out too. It's actually where this whole idea started. That page was the first one we ever built, and it's still the best example of what we were trying to make possible for every host.

We also both come from an advertising background, so presenting a place properly, and being easy and trustworthy to reach, was never a nice-to-have for us. It's the part most hosts don't have time for, and it's the part we actually know how to do.

That's the real why behind My House Page. Not just a tool for making a page, but a simpler way to be found and be reached. Keep the visibility you already have on Airbnb or Booking, and also have a front door that's fully yours, one where a returning guest books directly with you, with no commission in between.

And it's bigger than any one page. We want this to grow into a place hosts actually learn from each other, where we share what we know about marketing and presentation, and where showing up on My House Page means joining something, not just listing something.
